I am having trouble keeping the blade tight on my saw, the set screw loosens up. I was thinking about a small strip of Teflon Tape anound the screw. Seeing as how I change the blade often, Loc-tite doesn't sound like a good idea. Anybody have any suggestions?

Replace with Metabo - problem solved. LOL
Two things, one is to look for the correct size metric screw with a nylock plug in it ... may have a better chance finding a pocket full of hen's teeth ... If this is the style that has the pilot shank extending through the other side of the blade arbor, peen that sucker off just enough to snug it up in the hole. Okay, three things, slobber some high-tack gasket adhesive or contact cement on the threads, either one will get gooy enough to create a lot of friction but won't get hard.
